FAQ.

I have no experience, how do I begin?

The majority of students begin without previous combative experience.

We all remember our first day, and celebrate new students as they begin their journey.

I am out of shape!

You do not need to be in shape to begin your training. Training at the club will give you the means to attain your best shape and performance. Come as you are!

Do men and women train together at the Academy?

We train as one, and we all benefit from the shared experience. There is an approximate 70/30 male-to-female ratio at the Academy. Personal character is important, and we keep our members in good standing.

What does membership include?

Membership provides access to Muay Thai, Boxing, Strength & Conditioning, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Sparring, MMA, Kettlebells, and Open Gym training. You will have multiple class options to fit your schedule, goals, and interests.

What kinds of people are at the Academy?

N1 members are the best kinds of people. We support, encourage and trust each other. We come as we are, safe in the knowledge that we are surrounded by people we can trust and depend on.

How do I get started?

Simply give us a call and come in for a free one-hour beginner group class.

What should I bring?

Shorts and a t-shirt are all that you’ll need for your first class, as the Academy can meet your introductory needs. If you have existing equipment, feel free to bring it with you.

What does a class involve?

Classes are designed to maximize your athletic and martial development, and most follow the general framework of a warm-up, followed by partner work, skills training, and calisthenics.

What are the benefits?

Classes provide you with an applicable, 'real world' skill set while building your confidence, fitness, discipline, and overall physique. The results are rapid! The Academy is also a great place to build connections and meet new people.

I have serious health issues

If you have a serious health issue, it is always best to consult with your doctor in advance of your training.
